WWE Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown will deliver the company’s go-home week for Sunday Night’s Main Event, but both episodes were recorded in advance at Rocket Arena in Cleveland on Friday, August 28. RAW will air August 31, while SmackDown will air September 4, two nights before the September 6 special. The RAW matches and segments were part of a double taping along with SmackDown, with both shows also setting the stage for WWE’s upcoming Mexico City episodes. Fightful Select was the first outlet to publish the spoilers, releasing its internal rundowns before the full results were confirmed inside the arena.

WWE Monday Night RAW spoilers — August 31, 2026
- Royce Keys and OTM ambushed The Usos as they arrived. Jimmy Uso was powerbombed onto a car windshield, both brothers were left bloodied, and Jacob Fatu chased the attackers away with a pipe.
- Fatu stormed the ring and promised to take out Keys and OTM. Adam Pearce and security attempted to restrain him before production cut his microphone following an uncensored threat.
- Raquel Rodriguez defeated Sol Ruca to retain the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship after Lyra Valkyria unexpectedly helped Rodriguez. Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez watched from ringside.
- Chad Gable discussed the legacy he intended to build as Intercontinental Champion before Dragon Lee and Ethan Page interrupted. Lee defeated Page to earn a championship match against Gable in Mexico City.
- Paul Heyman promoted the Sunday Night’s Main Event showdown between Bron Breakker and Oba Femi. A separate Lola Vice vignette pointed to the September 14 RAW from Mexico City.
- Je’Von Evans defeated Dominik Mysterio by disqualification following interference from JD McDonagh. Joe Hendry made the save, leading to a restarted tag team match that Mysterio and McDonagh won when Mysterio pinned Hendry.
- Liv Morgan told Judgment Day that she would defeat Stephanie Vaquer again. Becky Lynch and Vaquer later traded words over who truly elevated the Women’s World Championship.
- Roman Reigns and LA Knight had an in-ring confrontation. Backstage, Jacob Fatu attacked and bloodied Solo Sikoa. Knight confronted Fatu before Reigns dropped Knight with a Superman Punch and told Fatu to handle his unfinished business.
- Penta defeated Rey Fenix in the tournament final to become the No. 1 contender to Roman Reigns’ World Heavyweight Championship. Reigns confronted Penta after the match ahead of their Mexico City title fight.
- WWE announced that Money in the Bank qualifying matches will begin on the September 7 episode of RAW.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown spoilers — September 4, 2026
- Gunther, Sami Zayn, Finn Bálor and Kevin Owens opened the show with Nick Aldis after the previous No. 1 contender’s match ended without a winner.
- CM Punk encountered Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae backstage. LeRae argued that a WWE Championship opportunity could bring “Johnny Wrestling” back, leading Gargano to accept Punk’s offer and Aldis to approve the main event.
- Charlotte Flair and Tatum Paxley, accompanied by Alexa Bliss, defeated Fatal Influence. Jade Cargill, B-Fab and Michin attacked afterward, setting up a six-woman tag team match for Sunday Night’s Main Event.
- Nikki Bella addressed her issues with Paige, and Paige confronted her during the interview. Paige versus Nikki was announced for the September 11 SmackDown in Mexico City.
- Danhausen joined a backstage conversation between Gunther and Aldis, referring to Gunther as “Gooner.”
- Chelsea Green was medically cleared before Nia Jax and Lash Legend interrupted. Jax defeated Tiffany Stratton and received a WWE Women’s Championship match against Green in Mexico City.
- Kevin Owens discussed the unresolved championship-contender situation. Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton also participated in a tense sit-down interview with Corey Graves ahead of Sunday Night’s Main Event.
- Lil Yachty appeared with Trick Williams and premiered a music video. United States Champion Baron Corbin responded to the segment.
- Shinsuke Nakamura and Kyoki competed under the team name Bakusai and defeated The Miz and Kit Wilson. The MFT confronted Bakusai following the match.
- The War Raiders exchanged words with R-Truth and Damian Priest, while Rey Fenix was interviewed about Ricky Saints.
- Blake Monroe versus Giulia never officially began because Giulia attacked Monroe before the bell. Gargano and Sami Zayn also had a backstage exchange before the main event.
- CM Punk defeated hometown favorite Johnny Gargano to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship. Finn Bálor, Kevin Owens and Gunther were involved at ringside before Punk challenged Sami Zayn to a title match in Mexico City.
