TNA iMPACT! Spoilers Taped May 15

Spoiler Warning

The following article contains full spoilers from TNA iMPACT! television tapings held last night in Sacramento, California. Stop reading now if you do not want upcoming TNA iMPACT! results spoiled.

TNA continued building toward Slammiversary with another round of iMPACT! tapings from Sacramento, and while the company is still keeping its biggest summer pieces moving, these spoilers show a taping centered on championship action, Knockouts Division movement, The System staying active, and The Hardys stepping into one of the more unique match concepts on TNA television. With Slammiversary set for Sunday, June 28, live from the Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts, TNA is clearly trying to stack enough story threads across the roster before its biggest show of the summer.

Here are the full spoilers (courtesy of Carlos Estrada)

  • Director of Authority Santino Marella & Indi Hartwell def. Stacks and Arianna Grace

The biggest result on paper is Mike Santana retaining the TNA World Championship over Steve Maclin, which keeps Santana steady as the face of the company heading into the Slammiversary stretch. Mustafa Ali also kept the TNA International Championship moving with a successful title defense over “Starboy” Chazz Hala, giving the taping another meaningful championship result instead of just filler television.

The Knockouts Division had a busy night as well. Heather By Elegance, Xia Brookside and Tessa Blanchard all picked up wins, while Indi Hartwell’s singles match with Elayna Black broke down after Arianna Grace interfered. That later led to Santino Marella and Indi teaming up to defeat Stacks and Arianna Grace, which keeps that story alive while also giving Hartwell more direct involvement on TNA programming.

The closing headline is The Righteous defeating The Hardys in the Wicked Garden Match. That is the kind of result that stands out because Matt and Jeff Hardy still carry name value, but Vincent and Dutch getting the win gives The Righteous something real to point to. On the road to Slammiversary, that matters. TNA needs more than just title matches; it needs acts that feel heated, weird, different and dangerous enough to separate the product from everything else happening in wrestling.

Overall, this looks like a solid spoiler lineup for TNA. It is not overloaded, but it has enough movement across the world title scene, International Championship picture, Knockouts Division and tag/storyline side of the show to keep the road to Boston active. The key now is whether TNA can make these episodes feel as important on television as they read on paper.
