Wrestling Contract Status Report

The wrestling free-agent market is never as simple as a date on a calendar. Contracts expire, options get picked up, injury time can be added, filming commitments can shift timelines, and in some cases, talent are working without traditional deals at all. That is why Fightful’s updated contract-expiration tracker is valuable: it puts a cleaner picture around who is locked in, who is nearing the end of their current agreement, and which names could become major players in future free-agent conversations.

The important note here is that these expiration windows should not be treated as exact walk-out-the-door dates. As Fightful noted, the list does not account for added injury time. It also does not necessarily account for time that could be tacked on due to outside projects such as filming a television show or movie. In other words, the dates below are the reported or announced contract windows as they currently stand, not a guarantee that every performer will be free and clear the moment that month or year arrives.

WWE

• Bayley — Contract runs until late 2026. Bayley revealed on Insight with Chris Van Vliet that she had roughly a year and a half left on her current WWE deal.
• Rey Mysterio — Contract runs until late 2026. Nick Hausman of Haus of Wrestling reported that Mysterio’s WWE deal was a three-year agreement.
• Corey Graves — Contract runs until early 2027. Fightful reported the status of Graves’ deal.
• Rusev — Contract runs until April 2027. Deadline reported that Rusev signed a new two-year WWE deal when he returned to the company.
• Chad Gable — Contract runs until June 2027. Fightful Select first reported his previous deal was close to expiring, and Gable later confirmed on Insight with Chris Van Vliet that he re-signed for three more years.
• Angel Garza — Contract runs until August 1, 2027. Garza personally revealed during a Facebook stream that he re-signed with WWE for another three years.
• Brie Bella — Contract runs until March 2028. Brie and Nikki Bella revealed on The Nikki & Brie Show that they signed two-year WWE deals.
• Nikki Bella — Contract runs until March 2028. The deal was announced by The Bella Twins themselves on their podcast.
• Seth Rollins — Contract runs around fall 2028. Fightful Select reported in 2024 that Rollins signed a new multi-year WWE deal, and Rollins later said on Mohr Stories that he had three years left.
• Dominik Mysterio — Contract runs until late 2028. PWInsider reported that Dominik signed a new WWE deal believed to be for five years.
• Finn Balor — Contract runs until April 2029. Fightful reported the status of Balor’s deal.
• R-Truth — Contract runs until June 2029, with a three-year option attached. R-Truth told TV Insider that he signed a four-year deal with a three-year option.
• Sheamus — Contract runs until September 2029. PWInsider reported the deal was for five years, and Sheamus later confirmed the length himself.
• Liv Morgan — Contract runs until at least fall 2029. Liv Morgan announced the status of her deal publicly.
• Randy Orton — Contract runs until late 2029. Fightful reported the deal, and Orton later confirmed it.
• Booker T — Contract runs through 2029. Booker T announced the status of his deal.
• Chelsea Green — Contract runs at least through 2029. Fightful reported the status of Green’s deal.
• Jordynne Grace — Contract runs until January 2030. Fightful reported the status of Grace’s WWE deal.
• Alexa Bliss — Contract runs until February 2030. Fightful reported the status of Bliss’ deal.

• Anna Jay — Contract runs until spring 2026. Fightful reported the status of her deal.
• Big Bill — Contract runs until late May or early June 2026. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that Big Bill’s AEW deal was nearing expiration.
• Alex Reynolds — Contract runs at least until mid-2026. Fightful reported the status of his deal.
• Evil Uno — Contract runs at least until mid-2026. Fightful reported the status of his deal.
• John Silver — Contract runs at least until mid-2026. Fightful reported the status of his deal.
• Kip Sabian — Contract runs at least until mid-2026. Fightful reported the status of his deal.
• Jim Ross — Contract runs until August 2026. Ross publicly said he believes his AEW deal is up in August and that if Tony Khan wants to keep him, he will.
• Ortiz — Contract runs until fall 2026. Ortiz announced the status of his deal.
• Scorpio Sky — Contract runs until October 2026. Scorpio Sky announced the status of his deal.
• Dr. Britt Baker DMD — Contract runs until fall 2026. Fightful Select reported the status of Baker’s deal.
• Queen Aminata — Contract runs until February 2027. Her deal status was publicly announced.
• Deonna Purrazzo — Contract runs until early 2027. Fightful Select reported the status of her deal.

• PB Smooth — Contract runs at least through 2027. His multi-year deal status was publicly reported.
• Colby Corino — Contract runs at least through 2027. His multi-year deal status was publicly reported.

AAA

• Sam Adonis — Working without a contract. Fightful reported his current status.
• Hijo De Wagner Jr. — Contract ran until February 2026.

CMLL

• Soberano Jr. — Contract runs until 2026. His three-year deal was publicly reported.

NJPW

• Callum Newman — Contract runs at least through 2027. His deal status was publicly reported.

Marigold

• Victoria Yuzuki — Contract runs until April 2031. Her long-term deal status was publicly reported.

The biggest takeaway is that WWE has several core names locked in deep into the decade, AEW has a mix of long-term anchors and near-term names worth watching, and TNA has a few key situations that show how different its contract structure can be compared to WWE and AEW. Big Bill, Anna Jay, Jim Ross, Britt Baker, Leon Slater, and the TNA names working without deals are among the more interesting short-term situations, while Jordynne Grace, Alexa Bliss, Kevin Owens, Eddie Kingston, Matt Menard, Nick Khan and The Undertaker represent the other side of the business: long-term security, long-term planning, and in some cases, contracts that stretch far beyond the usual wrestling cycle.

Contract talk can be messy, but the picture right now is clear enough: the next wave of free-agent speculation will not just be about who is available. It will be about who is actually free once injury time, option years, outside projects, and company-specific contract language are factored in.
