Today WWE announced a new show coming exclusively to the social media platform, X called WWE Speed.
The show was first introduced last month at the WrestleMania XL Kickoff press conference in Las Vegas, Nevada by Michael Cole.
WWE dropped a video announcing the show featuring WWE Commentator Corey Graves in which he would explain the concept of the show.
WWE Speed will feature three minute matches and is kicking off with a tournament to crown the inaugural WWE Speed Champion.
Some of the matches have already been taped before episodes of Friday Night SmackDown. Most recent it was reported by Fightful Select that Pete Dunne produced some matches for WWE Speed at last week’s SmackDown in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Who will run away as the inaugural WWE Speed Champion?
WWE Speed premieres Wednesday April 3rd exclusively on X where…EVERY SECOND COUNTS!

I’m the quiet one until the bell rings then I’ve got takes. I live for WWE NXT and TNA, I want every promotion to succeed, and I will absolutely roast the bad decisions on sight (because someone has to). Anime taught me to respect long-term storytelling; wrestling taught me that sometimes the plan is “we panicked” and called it “unpredictable.” The Miz got me into all of this, so yeah I appreciate confidence, commitment, and the art of talking like you’re already the main event. Now I bring that same energy to the page as the main writer for Late Night Crew Wrestling because if you’re not here to be must-see and tell the truth, why are you here?!
