As first reported by the St. Louis Business Journal, All Elite Wrestling has officially announced that its fall pay-per-view event, WrestleDream, will take place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, live from the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri.
This marks the third edition of WrestleDream, following the critically acclaimed inaugural show in 2023 and its sophomore installment in 2024, and it will be the first time AEW brings the event to the St. Louis market.
The announcement came via a visually striking promotional poster featuring St. Louis’ iconic Gateway Arch set against a red-gold sky with intricate design work evoking East Asian influences. The aesthetic choice is not accidental. The WrestleDream concept was originally introduced as a tribute to the legacy of the legendary Antonio Inoki, and it remains AEW’s most stylistically and thematically distinct event. Much like its debut, the 2025 edition is expected to serve as a celebration of professional wrestling’s global heritage—uniting AEW’s unique roster with international stars and dream-match scenarios that transcend company boundaries.
AEW’s choice of St. Louis as the host city carries deep historical weight. St. Louis has long been recognized as a cradle of American professional wrestling, home to the famed Wrestling at the Chase and a stronghold of the National Wrestling Alliance during its most influential years. AEW’s return to the city—this time with a marquee PPV event—further cements its commitment to honoring wrestling’s storied past while forging ahead with a bold, modern product.
The Chaifetz Arena, located on the campus of Saint Louis University, seats over 10,000 for wrestling events and has previously hosted AEW television tapings, including episodes of Dynamite and Rampage. However, October 18 will mark the first time a pay-per-view will emanate from the venue, and expectations are already soaring.
Ticket access will roll out in phases: premium seating early access begins Monday, July 22, followed by a general presale on Wednesday, July 24. Tickets will go on sale to the public Sunday, July 28 at 10:00 AM Central via AEWTix.com. Given the success of AEW’s recent PPVs—including All In at Wembley Stadium and Forbidden Door—tickets are expected to be in high demand.
While the official card has not yet been revealed, industry speculation is already swirling. With stars like Swerve Strickland, MJF, Will Ospreay, Mercedes Moné, Bryan Danielson, and Kenny Omega all in prominent positions heading into the fall, AEW has the tools to deliver another landmark event. WrestleDream’s debut featured dream matches and interpromotional appearances, and similar surprises could be in store in St. Louis, especially with AEW’s ongoing working relationships with New Japan Pro-Wrestling, CMLL, and potentially other international promotions.
AEW continues to blend nostalgia, athleticism, and storytelling in a way that resonates with longtime fans while appealing to a new generation. WrestleDream 2025 is shaping up to be more than just a night of action—it’s being positioned as a celebration of wrestling’s past, present, and future in a city where all three converge.
Tickets and further details will be available at AEWTix.com. More announcements regarding the match card and talent appearances are expected in the coming weeks.
