Today former STARDOM founder, Rossy Ogawa announced he would be starting a new promotion called Marigold. This was rumored to be happening when Ogawa had his contract cancelled by the parent company of New Japan Pro Wrestling, Bushiroad.
Ogawa’s contract was cancelled back in February of this year and ever since many STARDOM wrestlers have expressed their distain for his ousting. Many stars have left the promotion and have signed with Marigold.
Today Ogawa held a press conference in Japan to announce not only the new promotion but that seven wrestlers with five being from STARDOM have joined the company. The names include WWE NXT Signee Guilia, Utami Hayashishita, Mai Sakurai, MIRAI, Yuzuki (now known as Victoria Yuzuki), Nanae Takahashi and Nao Ishikawa.

Fans got to see Yuzuki challenge Takahashi to a match for the first event, Marigold Fields Forever on May 20th at Korakuen Hall.

May 26: Shinkiba 1st RING Day
May 26: Shinkiba 1st RING Night
June 1: Osaka
June 2: Hamamatsu
June 11: Korakuen Hall
June 15: Kyoto
June 16: Nagoya
June 23: Shinkiba 1st RING
June 29: Sendai
Tokyo Sports is also reporting that Marigold is planning to invite Damage CTRL members Kairi Sane and Iyo Sky for a big match this summer.
“(WWE) has been very good to me. I think they’re buying into what I’ve been doing to raise Iyo, Kairi, and Giulia. Relationship with WWE? I think there will be some kind of announcement from the other side in the future.”
“I’d like to invite players from the other side (WWE)… I’d like to be able to do something like that.”
