The opening contest at AEW All In was a Fatal Four Way London Ladders Match for the AEW World Trios Championship. The ending saw the wild card team of PAC, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta scale the ladder to retrieve the titles.
This brings an end to the 36 day reign of The Patriarchy who won the vacated titles against The Bang Bang Gang at the Esports Arena in Arlington, Texas in AEW Collision.
This match came about when Christian Cage who was the special guest referee for a #1 contender’s match between The House of Black and The Bang Bang Gang cause a no contest ruling. This also lead to a Wildcard match between PAC & Blackpool Combat Club vs Top Flight & Lio Rush stacking the odds even more against the champions.
