Tonight, TNA Wrestling hosted their iMPACT! television tapings from the UPMC Events Center in Moon Township, Pittsburgh. What made these tapings special was that the company aired next week’s episode (June 26) live on TNA Plus. The show featured the return of Mike Santana from suspension, as he battled AJ Francis of First Class in a brutal Street Fight main event. A new #1 contender for the Knockouts World Championship was also crowned in a high-stakes battle royal. The winner will go on to face the victor of the upcoming clash between Masha Slamovich and Killer Kelly. Additionally, the main event for Slammiversary was officially announced, along with several other surprises throughout the night.

Joe Hendry kicked off the show and thanked the fans for believing in him on his road to ascension and asked the fans to believe in him one more as he is on his road to redemption. TNA Director of Authority came out and announced that in the main event of Slammiversary Hendry will be competing for the first TNA World Championship. This Tuesday on WWE NXT current champion Trick Williams will defend against Josh Briggs.

Killer Kelly announced in a backstage segment that the Knockouts World Championship match has been pushed back a week.

Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich challenged Killer Kelly to a chain match for the title. The NXT Liaison made her return telling Slamovich that she has a surprise for her.

Post match Masha Slamovich came out to confront Ash but was interrupted by the surprising return of the NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne

Jake Something announced that he is back in TNA and claimed that nobody in the company checked on him while he was out with injury. The only person to check on him was Tommy Dreamer who he sees as a mentor and will fight Mance Warner in Dreamer’s honor next week. Something also the International Championship was made for him and puts the current champion Steve Maclin on notice.

During the injury report it was announced that Elijah has suffered a torn triceps in his six man tag team match this past Tuesday on WWE NXT and has undergone successful surgery.

Call To Arms Match Rules:

• Both competitors will have an arm tied to the ropes
• Whoever gets untied first will have the advantage
• Winner decided via pinfall or submission

Mustafa Ali defeated John Skyler (Call To Arms Match)

• Ali had hidden scissors in his boots to get the advantage
• During the match Jason Hotch would hand the scissors to Skyler to set him free as Tasha Steelz hid the scissors

Post match Ali looked to attack Skyler with a chair but Hotch put a stop to it leading to Ali to attack him from behind. Ali would then look to strike both members of The Great Hands with the chair but Tasha would put herself in front of Ali and pleaded with him to stop. This would lead to the shocking debut of Cedric Alexander. Ali would look to take Tasha with him to the back but Cedric grabbed Tasha hand and the rest of Order 4 stood beside Alexander as Ali walked to the back alone.

Matt Cardona challenged Eddie Edwards of The System to a match next week

The Hardys defeated The Northern Armory

Post match The Hardys called out Leon Slater. The Hardys told Slater they know he will beat Moose and become the youngest X-Division Champion in TNA History. Slater then stated that he will bring the fight to Moose or die trying and the win is for everyone who has supported him on his journey. He then announced to be on commentary for Moose’s match.

TNA X-Division Champion Moose defeated Shane Sabre and Jake Painter

When the episode airs Moose will move to second place as the longest reigning X-Division Champion at 230 days.
