It is with a heavy heart to report that current Monday Night RAW announcer Samantha Irvin has announced her departure from World Wrestling Entertainment.
Irvin who is the real life fiancé of former WWE superstar and current All Elite Wrestling talent Ricochet made her WWE debut back in April of 2021 on the now defunct 205 Live. She was first brought into the wrestling industry when she was scouted by WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry. She originally had a tryout to become a wrestler before transitioning into a ring announcer.
She went on to become the ring announcer for NXT before joining the main roster on Friday Night SmackDown in January 2022.
In February of the following year she would moved over to Monday Night RAW. She was the ring announcer for this year’s WrestleMania 40 announcing all 14 matches. It was at WrestleMania that she garnered some praise from UFC’s Ring announcer, Bruce Buffer.
Irvin has also gained major love and admiration from the WWE Universe from her powerful and charismatic take on announcing.
She brought more depth and charisma to wrestler’s characters with her unique and emotional announcing with examples such as Chelsea Green, Ludwig Kaiser and the announcement of Cody Rhodes winning the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania.
Here are some of her amazing ring introductions:

According to Wrestlevotes many people backstage at tonight’s RAW in Philadelphia were shocked about Irvin’s departure after just three years with the company. It is also noted by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful that former RAW announcer Lilian Garcia is backstage.
While not confirm it is more than likely Alicia Taylor will take over ring announcing duties tonight.
Samatha Irvin will truly be missed.

I’m the quiet one until the bell rings then I’ve got takes. I live for WWE NXT and TNA, I want every promotion to succeed, and I will absolutely roast the bad decisions on sight (because someone has to). Anime taught me to respect long-term storytelling; wrestling taught me that sometimes the plan is “we panicked” and called it “unpredictable.” The Miz got me into all of this, so yeah I appreciate confidence, commitment, and the art of talking like you’re already the main event. Now I bring that same energy to the page as the main writer for Late Night Crew Wrestling because if you’re not here to be must-see and tell the truth, why are you here?!
