WWE brought live in-ring action to WWE World in Las Vegas today, adding a little extra wrestling to WrestleMania week with a quick two-match lineup that mixed an NXT title defense with a featured tag team bout. It was not a major card, but it did exactly what it needed to do. Tatum Paxley kept her momentum going with a successful defense of the NXT Women’s North American Championship against Alba Fyre, while Motor City Machine Guns picked up a notable win over Fraxiom in the other match WWE had on the stream. WWE had officially listed Paxley vs. Fyre for today’s session, and live coverage also reflected Motor City Machine Guns vs. Fraxiom as part of the card.
Here are the full results
- Tatum Paxley def. Alba Fyre
- Motor City Machine Guns def. Fraxiom
Paxley’s win was the bigger takeaway on paper because it kept the NXT Women’s North American Champion rolling during one of the busiest weeks on the wrestling calendar. Alba Fyre gave the match veteran credibility, but the result always felt more important for Paxley, who continues to be positioned as a meaningful part of NXT’s women’s division heading out of Stand & Deliver weekend.
The tag match also stood out because Motor City Machine Guns against Fraxiom is the kind of pairing that almost sells itself. Even in a WWE World setting, that is a matchup with enough name value and in-ring quality to grab attention fast, and MCMG getting the win gave the exhibition-style card a little more weight than just a throwaway fan-access event match.

Final thoughts
Today’s WWE World matches were short, simple, and effective. This was not a must-see show, but it gave fans in Las Vegas and on the stream two recognizable matches, one title result, and a clean spotlight for talent from both NXT and the main roster mix. For a side attraction during WrestleMania week, that is really all WWE needed it to be.

I’m the quiet one until the bell rings then I’ve got takes. I live for WWE NXT and TNA, I want every promotion to succeed, and I will absolutely roast the bad decisions on sight (because someone has to). Anime taught me to respect long-term storytelling; wrestling taught me that sometimes the plan is “we panicked” and called it “unpredictable.” The Miz got me into all of this, so yeah I appreciate confidence, commitment, and the art of talking like you’re already the main event. Now I bring that same energy to the page as the main writer for Late Night Crew Wrestling because if you’re not here to be must-see and tell the truth, why are you here?!
