This pivotal episode comes just 48 hours removed from one of the most talked-about cross-promotional moments in recent wrestling history — Tuesday’s WWE NXT main event, where the TNA World Championship was defended in shocking fashion. On that night, the world watched as TNA World Champion Trick Williams put his title on the line against “The Standard of TNA” Mike Santana in a historic showdown. The hard-hitting battle took a controversial turn when First Class (AJ Francis & KC Navarro) interfered at a crucial moment. With the referee distracted by Williams smashing Elijah’s guitar across the ring steps, Francis took out Santana, allowing Trick to steal the win and retain his championship under dubious circumstances. Tonight, the fallout continues as Elijah addresses the TNA Faithful about what went down and what’s to come in tomorrow’s Against All Odds main event.
