For the second time since its announcement, WWE’s Money in the Bank has a new date. The premium live event is now officially scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
The schedule change is just the latest wrinkle in what has been a complicated timeline for New Orleans wrestling fans. In February 2025, WWE originally announced the city would host WrestleMania 42. However, just three months later, the company abruptly pivoted, moving WrestleMania to Las Vegas for a second consecutive year. New Orleans was awarded Money in the Bank and the promise of a future WrestleMania as a consolation.
Since then, Money in the Bank’s spot on the calendar has been a moving target. Initially set for August 29, the event was bumped back to September 6 late last year. Fans speculated that the first delay was a strategic move to avoid clashing with AEW’s All In, scheduled for August 30 at London’s Wembley Stadium. While rumors circulated, no evidence or reports have surfaced to confirm that theory.
Now, WWE has delayed the event a second time, pushing it back another month to October 10. Once again, the company has not provided an official reason for the schedule adjustment.
Fans looking to attend the October 10 event can purchase tickets when they officially go on sale Friday, July 10, at 10 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster. An exclusive presale will kick off a day earlier on Thursday, July 9, at 10 a.m. ET, which fans can register for at WWE.com/mitb-2026. Additionally, official Priority Passes offering premium seating and hospitality events will be available soon through On Location.
