AEW Full Gear 2026 is headed to the Valley of the Sun.
As first reported by azcentral and officially confirmed by AEW, Full Gear 2026 will take place Saturday, November 14, from Mortgage Matchup Center in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. Tickets for the eighth annual edition of the pay-per-view are scheduled to go on sale Monday, July 27. No matches have been announced.
This will be the first Full Gear held in Phoenix and a welcome change of scenery for an event that has become increasingly familiar with Newark, New Jersey. Prudential Center hosted three of the previous four editions in 2022, 2024 and 2025, while the 2023 show was held at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
Mortgage Matchup Center is not unfamiliar territory for AEW. The company made its Phoenix debut at the arena in February 2023 and returned one year later for the memorable Dynamite where Sting and Darby Allin defeated Ricky Starks and Big Bill to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship. That victory gave Sting the final championship of his career before his retirement match at Revolution 2024.
AEW also brought Double or Nothing 2025 to Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale. Ahead of that show, Tony Khan praised Arizona’s wrestling audience and made it clear that the company intended to return to the market for another pay-per-view. Full Gear 2026 is the continuation of that relationship, this time inside the home arena of the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury.
Full Gear has traditionally been one of the most consequential events on AEW’s calendar. The pay-per-view has hosted Hangman Page’s emotional AEW World Championship victory over Kenny Omega, MJF’s first world-title win against Jon Moxley, Swerve Strickland and Hangman’s unforgettable Texas Death Match, Toni Storm’s transformation into a three-time women’s champion and Samoa Joe’s steel-cage victory over Hangman last year.
That history makes the move to Phoenix more than a routine venue announcement. Full Gear has regularly been the point where AEW’s longest stories finally break open—where championships change hands, alliances collapse and characters are pushed into their next chapter.
The card will depend on how AEW’s championship picture and major storylines develop over the next four months, but the company has already secured a proven wrestling market and a major downtown arena for one of its signature pay-per-views.
