AEW All In London 2026 Preview: Ospreay and Nigel Carry an Uneven Build

The AEW All In London 2026 Preview has grown into a 13-match marathon at Wembley Stadium, with eight matches on the main card and five more packed into a two-hour Buy-In. The depth is undeniable. Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay have the ability to produce an unforgettable AEW World Championship main event, Jon Moxley and Nigel McGuinness finally give the Continental Challenge Cup an emotional destination, Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Moné bring years of history into the women’s world-title match, and the International Championship three-way could break the Don Callis Family apart. The problem is that AEW waited until the final hours to turn one advertised pre-show match into five. Ospreay and McGuinness have carried the heart of tonight’s event through their respective Wembley dreams, but too much of the supporting card has been assembled through late challenges, social-media videos and last-minute volume. All In should still be tremendous bell to bell. The build has simply forced the wrestlers to create urgency faster than the booking did.

Dynamite and Collision Finally Completed the Road to All In

Wednesday’s Dynamite in Glasgow did the most important work by determining the Continental Challenge Cup finalists. Moxley choked out Claudio Castagnoli after a physical semifinal that respected the Death Riders’ philosophy without forcing a breakup. McGuinness then survived Kyle O’Reilly’s relentless attack on his injured ankle and submitted one of AEW’s best technical wrestlers with the London Dungeon. The expected final became official, but neither semifinal felt like paperwork.

Ospreay opened Dynamite with the personal statement the world-title story had been missing. He traced his journey through the British independent scene, the early mornings after weekend bookings, the people who helped build him and the promise he intends to keep in front of his family. Omega did not need another attack or another abrupt personality shift. Ospreay finally reduced the match to its strongest truth: this is the championship and the homecoming he feared neck surgery had taken away from him.

Elsewhere, Copeland and the Bucks defeated the Don Callis Family before Christian’s distrust created another confrontation between the two teams. Persephone and Divine Dominion beat Maya and the Brawling Birds after Persephone used Maya’s championship to steal the fall. Mercedes attacked Willow’s left hand backstage. Andrade interrupted MJF’s attempt to make the Glasgow audience part of his act, while Jericho and Mark Davis joined the Casino Gauntlet field. Swerve Strickland defeated Jack Perry in the main event, giving Perry another credible performance but leaving both men outside tonight’s advertised lineup.

Last night’s Collision added urgency and exposed AEW’s lack of earlier discipline at the same time. Mercedes submitted Isla Dawn, only for a bandaged but medically cleared Willow to chase her through the crowd and promise that neither her smile nor her title would be taken. Takeshita defeated the Beast Mortos before Fletcher struck him with the International Championship and dropped him onto it with a brainbuster. The Dogs won decisively, while Hangman, Bandido, Brody King and Bang Bang Gang defeated the Demand and Lethal Twist before six of tonight’s seven trios teams flooded the ring for a chaotic closing brawl.

Skye beat Harley after Julia supplied a championship belt behind the referee’s back. Maya challenged Persephone. Kevin Knight mocked Darby’s absence until Steven Borden attacked him and became the target of a Don Callis recruitment pitch. Those developments created two additional Buy-In matches, and social-media follow-ups added two eight-man tags. The angles are connected to existing television and ROH stories, but announcing four matches less than a day before the bell is not long-form promotion. It is emergency card expansion.

Kenny Omega vs. Will Ospreay — AEW World Championship

Omega and Ospreay do not need a manufactured reason to produce violence. Omega beat the younger, rawer Ospreay long before either reached his current level. Their 2023 matches established a brutal rivalry at the highest technical and athletic standard: Omega dismantled Ospreay at Wrestle Kingdom, while Ospreay needed Don Callis and a screwdriver before finally defeating him at Forbidden Door. Ospreay has admitted that the interference poisoned what should have been his defining victory.

Tonight offers a clean answer on the largest stage AEW can provide. Ospreay won the 2026 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament to earn the opportunity. Omega regained the AEW World Championship from MJF and retained against Kevin Knight at Redemption. The story became needlessly tangled when the Death Riders attacked Omega, Ospreay rejected them, and Omega responded by planting the man who had just saved him with a One-Winged Angel. References to Ospreay’s son and Omega’s sudden aggression created heat, but they also rushed a shift that should have unfolded over months.

Glasgow repaired part of the damage by returning the focus to Ospreay’s life, repaired neck and relationship with British wrestling. The crowd will treat him as the central figure regardless of how AEW labels either man. Omega can control the match by testing the neck and forcing Ospreay to choose between patience and the spectacular risks that built his career. Ospreay must prove that he can beat Omega without Callis, win the world championship and survive the weight of expectation at home.

The match should be outstanding. The finish matters more. Another Omega victory would turn Ospreay’s recovery and Owen Cup win into an elaborate detour. Ospreay winning clean is the clearest ending and the strongest beginning for AEW after Wembley.

Prediction: Will Ospreay wins the AEW World Championship.

Jon Moxley vs. Nigel McGuinness — Continental Challenge Cup Final

The Continental Challenge Cup has been the most effective piece of weekly television on the road to All In. Moxley defeated Jack Perry, Jay White and Claudio. McGuinness survived Katsuyori Shibata, Hechicero and O’Reilly while opponents repeatedly attacked the same damaged ankle. The redraw after every round made the tournament harder to follow than a fixed bracket, and presenting Moxley as the defending Continental Champion while the tournament winner also receives the championship was needlessly confusing. The matches still built a final with a simple conflict.

Moxley is the champion who treats pressure as oxygen. McGuinness is the veteran who believed this Wembley moment had passed him by. Their final Collision promos understood the stakes. Moxley respected Nigel’s survival before promising to tear apart the injured leg in front of his family. Nigel admitted that Moxley is favored and said he would have to steal the championship the same way he stole narrow victories throughout the tournament.

That is the match. Nigel cannot overpower or outlast Moxley in a prolonged fight. He must defend the ankle, create one opening and turn technique into a three-count or submission before Moxley drags him into deep water. The injury prevents the hometown story from becoming sentimental fantasy. Every escape should cost Nigel something.

Moxley retaining would be credible. Nigel winning would be memorable. After building the tournament around one improbable British comeback, AEW should complete it.

Prediction: Nigel McGuinness wins the Continental Challenge Cup and AEW Continental Championship.

Willow Nightingale vs. Mercedes Moné — AEW Women’s World Championship

Willow and Mercedes have the deepest history of any women’s match on the card. Willow defeated Mercedes for the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship after Mercedes suffered a serious leg injury in 2023. Mercedes returned to beat Willow for the TBS Championship in 2024, then lost that title back to her after a 584-day reign at the end of 2025. Even after Mercedes rebuilt herself through another Owen Cup victory, Willow returned, won a Casino Gauntlet and captured the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Mercedes does not merely want the championship. She wants to remove the opponent who keeps appearing at the site of her most painful failures. That obsession became physical when she attacked Willow’s left hand on Dynamite. Collision confirmed Willow was cleared, but the bandage makes the injury part of the match. Mercedes now has a target that can disrupt Willow’s grip, power offense and gutwrench-based attacks.

Willow confronting Mercedes after the Isla Dawn match was the right final image. She did not pretend the hand was fine. She showed that Mercedes had hurt her without convincing her to surrender the identity Mercedes resents. A Mercedes victory would complete her pursuit of the one major AEW women’s title she has not held. A Willow victory would establish her as the rival Mercedes cannot psychologically conquer.

Prediction: Willow Nightingale retains the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Kyle Fletcher vs. Konosuke Takeshita vs. Kazuchika Okada — AEW International Championship

This is the strongest supporting title story. Takeshita defeated Okada at Double or Nothing to win the International Championship, only for the Don Callis Family to turn on him and position Fletcher to take the title at Beach Break. Callis insists that the family wins as long as either Fletcher or Okada leaves with the championship. That argument ignores the ego that made the match inevitable.

Fletcher asked Okada to follow a plan in Glasgow and was rebuked for thinking only about himself. He then attacked Takeshita after last night’s main event and drove him onto the title. Fletcher and Okada may cooperate long enough to isolate their common enemy, but neither man is built to sacrifice his own victory for Callis. Takeshita’s route is to survive the temporary alliance and let their competition destroy it.

The match needs a consequence beyond another excellent three-way. If Fletcher and Okada remain comfortable stablemates afterward, the central conflict will have been wasted. Takeshita reclaiming the championship while their alliance fractures gives the division the most forward movement.

Prediction: Konosuke Takeshita wins the AEW International Championship.

Adam Copeland and Christian Cage vs. The Young Bucks — AEW World Tag Team Championship

The first major tag-team meeting between these two decorated teams sells itself as a generational dream match. The build has been less assured. Copeland has approached Matt and Nick with professional respect, while Christian has treated every civil interaction as weakness. Their recent six-man victory ended with accidental contact and another argument, making miscommunication the obvious pressure point.

The Bucks can force the champions to wrestle at a speed that exposes every hesitation. Copeland and Christian can slow the match, cut off the ring and punish the Bucks with the timing that comes from decades of experience. The most interesting question is whether Christian’s suspicion saves the champions or becomes the reason they lose.

The matchup deserves more than a rushed “best generation” debate, but the talent can overcome the thin setup. A champions’ victory followed by a sharper internal turn would leave more story than an immediate fourth Bucks reign.

Prediction: Copeland and Christian retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

Divine Dominion vs. The Brawling Birds — AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship

Divine Dominion and the Brawling Birds enter undefeated as teams, giving the match a cleaner sporting premise than several more heavily promoted bouts. Megan Bayne and Lena Kross have treated the division as a size-and-power problem nobody can solve. Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor have answered with aggression, chemistry and the advantage of competing in front of their home crowd.

Wednesday’s trios match gave Divine Dominion another victory but protected the direct matchup when Persephone stole the fall from Maya. Tonight should settle the question without outside chaos. The champions have been established strongly enough to survive a loss, while Hayter and Windsor winning at Wembley would immediately validate the young division.

Prediction: The Brawling Birds win the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship.

Kevin Knight vs. Darby Allin — Falls Count Anywhere for the TNT Championship

Knight’s transformation has been one of AEW’s boldest character changes. He attacked Darby after Double or Nothing, aligned with the Don Callis Family and kept escalating after Darby responded with his own explosive violence. Knight later used the TNT Championship to beat him, then sent him away on a stretcher after a pyro attack and a chair-assisted Coast-to-Coast dropkick.

Darby did not appear on Collision. Steven Borden carried his message, attacked Knight and was immediately surrounded by the Callis Family. The segment kept Darby’s absence meaningful and gave Callis a new target, but it also raised the danger level again before a match already designed to travel through Wembley.

Falls Count Anywhere fits the hatred. It also invites AEW’s worst excess if spectacle replaces escalation. Knight must look like a calculating champion rather than someone waiting to take Darby’s largest stunt. Darby should win only after Knight’s choices finally become more dangerous to him than to everyone else.

Prediction: Darby Allin wins the TNT Championship.

Men’s Casino Gauntlet

Andrade enters first and MJF enters second, ensuring the match begins with its clearest rivalry. The first fall ends the Gauntlet, so Jericho, Ciampa, Bailey, Komander, Wayne, Davis and any unannounced entrants are not guaranteed to appear before the finish. That rule gives every arrival urgency and prevents the match from becoming a conventional battle royal.

MJF still carries his unofficial Triple B and presents himself as the rightful world champion. Andrade holds the National Championship and has repeatedly refused to let MJF control the terms of their conflict. Their Glasgow fight gave the Gauntlet a personal opening instead of relying entirely on surprise entrants.

The field offers speed, experience and unstable alliances. Ciampa and Wayne have already shown they cannot cooperate for long. Davis represents the Callis Family but has his own ambitions. Jericho wants another path to the championship he first established. Bailey and Komander can change the pace instantly.

MJF is always credible enough to enter the world-title picture without this contract. Andrade needs the victory more, and winning after starting first would strengthen both his championship standing and his feud with MJF.

Prediction: Andrade El Ídolo wins the Casino Gauntlet.

Trios Roulette Royale — AEW World Trios Championship

Hangman, Bandido and Brody King are defending against Bang Bang Gang, the Dogs, the Conglomeration, the Demand, Death Riders and an unrevealed wild-card team. Collision gave the match scale through the 12-man tag and post-match brawl, while tension between Hangman and Jay White made their temporary partnership feel appropriately unstable.

The wild card is the obvious source of anticipation, but the existing field is already crowded with former champions and unresolved rivalries. AEW must explain the format cleanly and keep the action readable. Seven trios can produce controlled chaos or visual noise with no emotional center.

The champions are still a relatively new combination, and Hangman remains the most important singles wrestler in the match. A title change on the free pre-show would be a surprise, but retention gives the trio time to become more than three popular wrestlers sharing championships.

Prediction: Hangman, Bandido and Brody King retain the AEW World Trios Championship.

Maya World vs. Persephone — TBS Championship

Persephone used Maya’s own title to steal the fall on Dynamite, and Maya answered on Collision by demanding a free televised rematch. The logic is direct, and the champion has a real reason to be angry. It still feels like an angle that should have been announced earlier instead of being placed on the card hours before the show.

Persephone’s CMLL championship gives her immediate credibility, while Maya needs a successful defense after being embarrassed during the go-home week. A decisive Maya victory restores the hierarchy without making the challenger look incidental.

Prediction: Maya World retains the TBS Championship.

Harley Cameron and Kris Statlander vs. Sisters of Sin

Skye defeated Harley on Collision only after Julia slipped her a second championship belt while the referee removed the first. The post-match response reunited Harley and Statlander as Wrathlander and created an immediate rematch in tag form.

The personalities fit, and Harley’s connection with Statlander gives her comeback more weight than a routine loss. The flaw is time. One cheating finish and one short challenge video are being asked to create a Wembley match overnight. The wrestlers can make it entertaining, but the result should lead somewhere on Dynamite rather than exist only to fill the Buy-In.

Prediction: Harley Cameron and Kris Statlander defeat Sisters of Sin.

The Opps vs. Lio Rush and The Rascalz

This eight-man tag extends an ROH story. The Opps helped Action Andretti take the ROH World Television Championship from Lio, then Anthony Bowens welcomed Andretti into the group. Lio responded by bringing Myron Reed, Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz into the fight.

There is enough history for the match to belong on a card, but most AEW viewers received the final announcement through a late video rather than weekly television. The action should be fast and physical. The booking should keep the title dispute between Andretti and Lio visible instead of letting eight wrestlers dissolve into a showcase with no clear consequence.

Prediction: The Opps defeat Lio Rush and The Rascalz.

Boom & Doom and The Hurt Syndicate vs. Shane Taylor Promotions

Shane Taylor Promotions tried to pay the Hurt Syndicate to eliminate Boom & Doom. Big Boom AJ and QT Marshall offered more money, so Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin switched sides. That is the entire premise, and its simplicity is both the joke and the limitation.

Lashley and Benjamin should feel more important than mercenaries changing teams through a higher bid, while STP deserves more than another obstacle role. The personalities can carry a lively free-show attraction, but this is the clearest example of AEW adding bodies because two hours were available rather than because All In required another match.

Prediction: Boom & Doom and The Hurt Syndicate defeat Shane Taylor Promotions.

Final Thoughts on AEW All In London 2026 Preview

Tonight’s show has the talent to become one of AEW’s strongest in-ring events. Omega and Ospreay can deliver the defining match of their rivalry. Moxley and McGuinness have turned a complicated tournament into a human story. Willow and Mercedes have history, Fletcher’s three-way has faction consequences, and the two tag-title matches can create genuine Wembley celebrations.

The concern is discipline. Five Buy-In matches are not automatically better than one purposeful pre-show match. Four late additions make the card feel larger without making the event feel more important. AEW has repeatedly trusted match quality to compensate for uneven promotion, and this card again asks the roster to repair the build after the bell.

Ospreay winning the world championship and McGuinness completing his improbable run would give All In the emotional identity it needs. If AEW delivers those conclusions while allowing the supporting matches to change actual storylines, the rushed additions will become a footnote. If the show protects the status quo and prioritizes surprise volume, Wembley will remember the wrestling more clearly than the reasons it happened.

The AEW All In London 2026 Preview ultimately comes down to two British wrestlers carrying two very different dreams. Ospreay is trying to become the future AEW promised him. McGuinness is trying to recover the moment time appeared to take away. Their matches must make tonight mean more than another excellent, overcrowded pay-per-view.
