AEW Dynamite July 16th, 2025 Results: Darby Allin Returns, Toni Storm’s Spotlight Cracked by Athena, and Hangman Page Battles the Death Riders in Post–All In Chaos

AEW Dynamite on July 16, 2025, exploded out of the gates from the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago with fallout from All In: Texas still echoing through the arena. AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page opened the show with a raw and reflective message to the fans, but his celebration was cut short by the continued aggression of the Death Riders—Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta—who tried to dismantle Page in the main event. But before the final beatdown could settle in, Darby Allin made a jaw-dropping return, rappelling from the rafters to stand shoulder to shoulder with the cowboy champion. Elsewhere, “Timeless” Toni Storm basked in the glow of her title retention with another dramatic stage-worthy monologue, only to be confronted by Athena, the indomitable ROH Women’s Champion, and her protégé Billie Starkz, setting the stage for a potential power shift in the women’s division. The show also saw Kyle Fletcher pick up a gritty singles win, Thekla steal a victory in a chaotic $100K Fatal 4-Way with help from Julia Hart and Skye Blue, and Kazuchika Okada demolish Rafael Quintero before calling out Swerve Strickland in a stare-down that teased a colossal collision. With MJF and MVP’s Hurt Syndicate throwing verbal daggers from the shadows and Adam Copeland targeting FTR from the sidelines, AEW’s path forward has never looked more volatile—or more electric.
