TNA Wrestling has officially turned up the heat on the road to Slammiversary, and the 21st edition of the company’s flagship event just got a seismic boost. Earlier today, via the platform X, TNA announced two blockbuster championship matches set to rock the UBS Arena in New York on Sunday, July 20—one of which is slated to headline the show. First, the reigning TNA World Tag Team Champions, The Nemeth Brothers (Nic and Ryan), will put their titles on the line in a high-stakes Fatal Four-Way Ladder Match against The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz), the legendary Hardys (Matt and Jeff), and the brash tandem of First Class (AJ Francis and KC Navarro). But that’s not all—Slammiversary’s main event has also been confirmed, as Trick Williams, fresh off a successful title defense against Josh Briggs on NXT, will now face the man he dethroned at WWE Battleground: the fiercely determined Joe Hendry. With Hendry invoking his rematch clause, the question now becomes: Can Trick once again overcome the Hendry Hype Machine, or will Hendry reclaim his crown and stop the Trick-NA era in its tracks? As the wrestling world buzzes with anticipation, all eyes turn to tonight’s edition of TNA iMPACT!—how will this news affect the locker room, the champions, and the trajectory of Slammiversary itself? Buckle up—this summer’s about to get wild.
