This morning recently released WWE superstar Cameron Grimes spoke with Busted Open Radio on a multitude of topics such as who reached out to him after his release, being a Triple H Guy, what he was told five days before his release and more.
Grimes now known as Trevor Lee spoke with Dave Lagreca and stated that he was reassured of his job security just five days before his shocking release:
“I was told by a high executive last week on Friday that I would always have a job here (WWE). I would never have to worry about losing my job here, after expressing my concerns like that to him.
And then five days later, they called me and told that I do lose the job. So I don’t know.”
Lee also stated that one of the first people to reach to him after the announcement of his release was the current United States Champion Logan Paul.

I’m the quiet one until the bell rings then I’ve got takes. I live for WWE NXT and TNA, I want every promotion to succeed, and I will absolutely roast the bad decisions on sight (because someone has to). Anime taught me to respect long-term storytelling; wrestling taught me that sometimes the plan is “we panicked” and called it “unpredictable.” The Miz got me into all of this, so yeah I appreciate confidence, commitment, and the art of talking like you’re already the main event. Now I bring that same energy to the page as the main writer for Late Night Crew Wrestling because if you’re not here to be must-see and tell the truth, why are you here?!
