Tonight’s episode of TNA iMPACT! delivered a major shakeup to the Knockouts Division as former WWE NXT talent Jakara Jackson officially made her debut under a new name and persona, Mara Sadè. Earlier in the broadcast, Sadè was revealed as the surprise mystery partner of The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay) in a six-Knockouts tag team match against The Elegance Brand—Ash by Elegance, Heather by Elegance, and the icy newcomer M by Elegance.
The match came just four days after The Elegance Brand controversially retained the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship on the Countdown to Slammiversary pre-show this past Sunday, using their numbers advantage and outside interference from M by Elegance to steal a win over The IInspiration. That loss lit a fire under the former champions and led them to call in backup for tonight’s grudge match.
The reveal of Mara Sadè drew a major reaction from the crowd, who erupted as the lights dimmed and Sadè emerged, exuding an entirely new presence. Her aura was electric—icy, composed, and dangerous. From the opening bell, she showed no signs of rust, immediately going after M by Elegance with targeted strikes and sharp aggression. Sadè controlled long stretches of the match, neutralizing Heather with a spinning back elbow before cutting off Ash’s rally with a devastating counter.
After a chaotic closing stretch, it was Sadè who finished the job, ducking a lariat from Ash and drilling her with a modified standing neckbreaker to score the pinfall victory. The win not only handed the Elegance trio their first defeat as a unit, but it also restored some momentum to The IInspiration after their controversial title loss days earlier.
Sadè’s road to this moment has been as gritty as it has been impressive. Born Jamara Garrett, she was signed to WWE following a standout performance at a 2021 tryout in Las Vegas during SummerSlam week. Despite suffering a concussion on the first day of the camp, her charisma and mic work earned her a contract. Under the ring name Jakara Jackson, she debuted in NXT in August 2022, slowly carving out a presence on house shows and the NXT Level Up program. In 2023, her fortunes turned when she aligned with Lash Legend, Noam Dar, and Oro Mensah as part of the Meta-Four, a flamboyant and entertaining heel faction that brought her more consistent TV time and appearances on Raw and NXT premium live events.
By early 2025, the group disbanded quietly, and on May 2, Jackson was released from WWE as part of a larger wave of NXT talent cuts. That setback proved to be a catalyst. Reintroducing herself as Mara Sadè, she hit the independent circuit with renewed focus, wrestling for 4th Rope Wrestling, GCW’s Jersey Championship Wrestling, and challenging Masha Slamovich for the JCW World Championship. During that time, she built her new persona—equal parts elegance and edge—with a calm intensity that stood out in every locker room she entered.
Sadè’s first TNA appearance came in March during the Sacrifice event, where she and Lash Legend confronted The Elegance Brand in a rare WWE-NXT and TNA crossover moment. That unexpected confrontation planted the seeds for future conflict, and with tonight’s debut, TNA has pulled the trigger on bringing a rising talent into a Knockouts Division that continues to evolve.
While the six-Knockouts tag match wasn’t the final bout of the evening, it may prove to be one of the most important moments of the night. Sadè not only helped hand The Elegance Brand a crucial loss, but she positioned herself as a breakout player the moment she stepped through the curtain. She didn’t just join TNA—she arrived. Mara Sadè is here to disrupt the balance, challenge the hierarchy, and rewrite the narrative. The Mara Sadè era has begun, and it didn’t need the main event spotlight to make a main event impact.
