TNA iMPACT! returned to the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario, last night, Friday, August 28, to close its two-night run in Canada. Following Thursday’s live broadcast, TNA recorded matches and segments for future episodes while continuing the road to Bound for Glory. Friday’s session was entirely a television taping, and the precise air dates for the recorded material have not been confirmed. TNA Asylum was the first outlet to publish the results from inside the venue.

Here are the full spoilers

  • Brian Myers defeated Avery Styles in singles action. The match took place before a later storyline involving Styles, AJ Francis and Frankie Kazarian.
  • AJ Francis defeated Brent Oakley before calling out Avery Styles and demanding to face him in his first official TNA match. Director of Authority Santino Marella scheduled the match for “next week,” and Styles accepted before Frankie Kazarian appeared and attempted to decline on his behalf.
  • Indi Hartwell and Harley Hudson defeated Zoey Serrano and TNA Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside. Daria Rae joined commentary, while Serrano attacked a “fan” at ringside during the match.
  • Ryan Nemeth was found laid out backstage. The attack immediately raised questions about Matt Hardy’s involvement and later sparked a confrontation between Matt, Nic Nemeth and Santino Marella.
  • KC Navarro defeated Joe Alonzo to qualify for the six-way match that will crown a new TNA X-Division Champion at Bound for Glory. Former champion Leon Slater, who relinquished the title through Option C, joined commentary for the qualifier.
  • The System confronted Ricky Sosa backstage, but Elijah arrived to stand beside Sosa and prevent the situation from escalating.
  • Mila Moore was shown speaking to someone on the phone when John Skyler approached and asked her out. Moore cut him off after receiving another call, leaving Skyler without an answer.
  • Trey Miguel and Jason Hotch fought in a No. 1 contender’s match for a future opportunity at Mustafa Ali’s TNA International Championship. The match ended in a no-contest after Special Agent Zero interfered, leaving the championship picture unresolved.
  • Nic Nemeth confronted Matt Hardy backstage and accused him of being responsible for Ryan’s attack. Santino Marella and security separated them before Marella booked a No Disqualification match for the TNA World Championship later in the taping.
  • Rich Swann defeated Vincent after BDE fooled The Righteous into believing he intended to join them. BDE instead turned on the group and helped Swann secure the victory.
  • Moose defeated Frankie Kazarian in a match that placed Moose’s TNA career on the line. Avery Styles accompanied Kazarian at ringside but could not prevent Moose from protecting his place in the company.
  • TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth defeated Matt Hardy in the No Disqualification main event. Ryan Nemeth appeared and distracted Hardy, but Hardy put him through a table. Nic then struck Matt with a wrench and scored the pinfall.
  • Nic attempted another attack after the match until Elijah entered the ring and forced the Nemeth brothers to retreat.

Current TNA Bound for Glory card and announced attractions

Bound for Glory takes place Sunday, October 11, 2026, from the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. The following lineup is current through August 29 and includes the qualification secured during Friday’s taping.

  • TNA World Championship: Nic Nemeth (c) vs. Leon Slater — Slater invoked Option C at Lockdown, relinquishing the X-Division Championship in exchange for the title match.
  • Vacant TNA X-Division Championship: Six-way match — Fabian Aichner and KC Navarro have qualified, with four places remaining open.
  • TNA Hall of Fame Class of 2026: ODB, Konnan and Amazing Red will be inducted during Bound for Glory weekend.
