Today WWE announced that next year’s Summerslam will be following in suit of WrestleMania and will be a two night extravaganza. Summerslam 2026 will take place from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Saturday August 1st and Sunday August 2nd, 2026.
This will mark the first time that WWE has run a stadium show in the city and the first time a PLE has come to Minneapolis since Tables, Ladders and Chairs back in 2019.
The company will be holding fan and community events leading up to the event and after.
Here is what the Chair of the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority had to say about the announcement:
“We look forward to providing a warm welcome and best-in-class experience at U.S. Bank Stadium for WWE Superstars, staff, fans, and guests.”

I’m the quiet one until the bell rings then I’ve got takes. I live for WWE NXT and TNA, I want every promotion to succeed, and I will absolutely roast the bad decisions on sight (because someone has to). Anime taught me to respect long-term storytelling; wrestling taught me that sometimes the plan is “we panicked” and called it “unpredictable.” The Miz got me into all of this, so yeah I appreciate confidence, commitment, and the art of talking like you’re already the main event. Now I bring that same energy to the page as the main writer for Late Night Crew Wrestling because if you’re not here to be must-see and tell the truth, why are you here?!
