Today WWE and Hip Hop sensation Cardi B announced that the biggest party of the summer will be coming to Met Life Stadium in New Jersey next year. The party will be so massive next year that it will be held over two nights. Summerslam 2025 will take place on August 2nd and 3rd. This will be the first time that the PLE has been extended to two nights.
WWE has seen tons of success of doing two night PLEs when it comes to WrestleMania as we saw the show shift to this format since the global pandemic in 2020.
This is not the first time we have heard of Summerslam going to two nights as back in May it was announced that the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis would host the two night event in 2026.
What are your thoughts on Summerslam moving forward as a two night PLE? Should all the big 4 PLEs move to two nights?
