The brackets are set, and the journey to royalty begins now.
WWE has officially revealed the full tournament lineup for the 2025 King and Queen of the Ring, and both competitions begin in epic fashion tonight on Monday Night RAW with two explosive Fatal Four-Way opening round matches. The stakes are massive, and so are the names competing — including champions, rising stars, and a mysterious wildcard.
Tonight’s opening round of the Queen of the Ring tournament will be decided in a high-stakes Fatal Four-Way between four top-tier competitors:
Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan vs. Kairi Sane vs. Roxanne Perez
- Rhea Ripley, the dominant former Women’s World Champion, makes her Queen of the Ring debut. After months away from the title scene and having moved beyond her previous alliance with The Judgment Day, Ripley is out to reclaim her place at the top of the division — this time with a crown.
- Liv Morgan continues to ride a chaotic wave of momentum. With her brash attitude and underdog grit, Morgan looks to outlast the field and finally seize her Queen moment.
- Kairi Sane, the Pirate Princess, returns to singles tournament action with a decorated international résumé and the confidence to go the distance.
- Roxanne Perez, the young prodigy with championship credentials from NXT and a never-say-die mindset, could be this year’s breakout star.
Only one woman will advance to the RAW semifinals — and with these four, it’s truly anyone’s match.
Asuka Returns Next Week in Queen of the Ring Competition
WWE confirmed the return of Asuka — who has been out of action with injury for several months — next week as part of the second RAW Fatal Four-Way. The decorated former Women’s Champion and Damage CTRL veteran will face Stephanie Vaquer, Raquel Rodriguez, and Ivy Nile.
Asuka’s return adds prestige and unpredictability to a tournament that already features juggernauts like Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Jade Cargill, Michin, Piper Niven, and Nia Jax. The winner of the RAW bracket will go on to face the SmackDown finalist at WWE Night of Champions, where a new Queen will be crowned.
King of the Ring RAW Opening Round Set
The King of the Ring Tournament also begins tonight with a combustible Fatal Four-Way match that blends championship pedigree, powerhouse intensity, and international flair:
Dominik Mysterio vs. Bron Breakker vs. Penta El Zero Miedo vs. Sami Zayn
- “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, the current Intercontinental Champion, has been thriving in solo competition and looks to add “King” to his already impressive résumé.
- Bron Breakker, one of WWE’s most explosive rising stars, enters the tournament with brute strength and second-generation confidence.
- Penta El Zero Miedo, the masked lucha icon, brings unpredictability, violence, and undeniable charisma into the mix.
- Sami Zayn, a sentimental favorite and big-match performer, has a chance to rewrite his own legacy with a King of the Ring run.
Only one man advances to the RAW semifinals — and with combustible chemistry like this, the path won’t be easy.
Mystery Superstar Joins Next Week’s RAW Fatal Four-Way
WWE also revealed the second RAW King of the Ring Fatal Four-Way set for next week featuring Sheamus, Rusev, and Bronson Reed — along with a mystery fourth competitor whose identity has yet to be announced. The WWE Universe is already buzzing with speculation: Will it be a returning legend? An NXT call-up? Or someone entirely unexpected?
With Cody Rhodes, Damian Priest, Andrade, Shinsuke Nakamura, Randy Orton, LA Knight, Aleister Black, and Carmelo Hayes populating the SmackDown side of the bracket, the King of the Ring tournament is absolutely stacked across the board.
Finals to Take Place at WWE Night of Champions
The finals for both the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments will take place at the prestigious WWE Night of Champions, where the winners will not only earn regal titles but likely set themselves up for future championship opportunities.
These tournaments have historically launched careers, sparked rivalries, and crowned future Hall of Famers. With tonight’s double fatal four-way kickoff, WWE has made it clear: the path to royalty will be earned — and only the best will rise.
