AEW star and member of The Don Callis Family, Powerhouse Hobbs is set to undergo knee surgery according to Fightful Select. There is no timetable for his return.
The injury took place in the main event of AEW Dynamite last week. The show was headlined by the new IWGP World Champion Jon Moxley who made his first defense of the title against Hobbs. During the match he was seen lying on the match for a while grabbing his leg. The finish of the match was rushed and saw Moxley choke him out with the bulldog choke for the win.
