AEW Dynamite Preview – June 25, 2025: Grand Slam Mexico Fallout, High-Stakes Qualifiers for All In Casino Gauntlets, and Kota Ibushi’s In-Ring Return

This week, All Elite Wrestling brings the action to the accesso ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington, still reeling from the historic events of last Wednesday’s AEW Grand Slam Mexico Dynamite special. In a night that sent shockwaves through the wrestling world, “The CEO” Mercedes Monè added yet another jewel to her already glittering collection by defeating Zeuxis to become the CMLL World Women’s Champion — her sixth active title, earning her the undeniable title of “Six Beltz Monè.” But tonight’s episode is about more than celebration — it’s about fallout, vengeance, and momentum, as the road to All In: Texas on Saturday, July 12 enters its final stretch.

In one of the most emotionally charged stories of the summer, Kota Ibushi makes his first in-ring appearance of 2025 following his shocking return on Collision. Mark Briscoe introduced Ibushi to the world once more as he came to the aid of his former Golden Lovers partner, Kenny Omega, who remains hospitalized after a savage assault two weeks ago at the hands of Kazuchika Okada, the unforgiving AEW Continental Champion — and the latest acquisition of the ever-expanding Don Callis Family. Tonight, Ibushi faces Trent Beretta, a dangerous and battle-tested competitor who will look to spoil the Golden Star’s return.

Also on tap: two crucial fatal four-way matches — one for the men, one for the women — with the winners earning the #1 entry positions in the upcoming Casino Gauntlet Matches at All In. With those matches announced during the closing moments of Collision, the pressure tonight is immense: no one wants to draw the hardest path to victory in Arlington.

As AEW charges toward All In: Texas, tonight’s Dynamite raises the stakes, tests loyalty, and sets the tone for the summer’s biggest showdown. Will heroes rise, will alliances fracture, and who will leave Washington with momentum — or misery? The next chapter in AEW’s most pivotal season unfolds tonight.

Here is everything advertised for tonight’s show:

We’ll hear from The Hurt Syndicate

Konosuke Takeshita vs Mark Briscoe vs Roderick Strong vs ROH World Champion Bandido (#1 Spot in the Men’s Casino Gauntlet)

Willow Nightingale vs ROH Women’s World Champion Athena vs Thunder Rosa vs Kris Statlander (#1 Spot in the Women’s Casino Gauntlet)

Kota Ibushi vs Trent Beretta
