WWE’s Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque announced today via the social media platform X that next year’s Money in the Bank premium live event will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana, in August.
The news of Money in the Bank taking place in The Big Easy comes on the heels of rumors that WrestleMania, which was previously announced by ‘The Final Boss’ Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to be heading to New Orleans, is no longer happening. The report was circulated by NOLA News but has not been officially confirmed.
Money in the Bank 2026 is set to take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026.
What are your way-too-early predictions for Mr. and Ms. Money in the Bank 2026?

I’m the quiet one until the bell rings then I’ve got takes. I live for WWE NXT and TNA, I want every promotion to succeed, and I will absolutely roast the bad decisions on sight (because someone has to). Anime taught me to respect long-term storytelling; wrestling taught me that sometimes the plan is “we panicked” and called it “unpredictable.” The Miz got me into all of this, so yeah I appreciate confidence, commitment, and the art of talking like you’re already the main event. Now I bring that same energy to the page as the main writer for Late Night Crew Wrestling because if you’re not here to be must-see and tell the truth, why are you here?!
