Willow Nightingale was able to overcome the dark magic of The House of Black’s Julia Hart to become the new TBS Women’s Champion.
It was after the match that Mercedes Monè would make her way to the ring and challenge the new champion for a match at next month’s Double or Nothing PPV.
The match is a long and highly anticipated rematch between the two since the last time to the two wrestled was for the inaugural NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship. It was during that match that Monè would suffer an almost career ending ankle injury and made an audible for Nightingale to win the title.
Double or Nothing takes place this year form the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday May 26.

I’m the quiet one until the bell rings then I’ve got takes. I live for WWE NXT and TNA, I want every promotion to succeed, and I will absolutely roast the bad decisions on sight (because someone has to). Anime taught me to respect long-term storytelling; wrestling taught me that sometimes the plan is “we panicked” and called it “unpredictable.” The Miz got me into all of this, so yeah I appreciate confidence, commitment, and the art of talking like you’re already the main event. Now I bring that same energy to the page as the main writer for Late Night Crew Wrestling because if you’re not here to be must-see and tell the truth, why are you here?!
