Today on the social media platform, X saw the conclusion of the WWE Speed Championship tournament.
The finals of the tournament saw Ricochet defeat Johnny Gargano to become the inaugural WWE Speed Champion. What made this match different is that championship matches have five minute time limit instead of the traditional three minutes.

Immediately following the match it was announced that a new tournament will begin next week to crown Ricochet’s first challenger.

It is also worth noting that WWE Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque on an X Space with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes this week that the women will be getting involved with WWE Speed in the near future.
