TNA held back-to-back tapings on July 24 and 25 from the Ryan Center in Kingston, Rhode Island, capturing the next few episodes of iMPACT! and building a loaded card for Emergence. These episodes featured faction warfare, bitter personal rivalries, debuts, dramatic promos, and match announcements with major implications for TNA’s immediate future.
Thursday night’s live show closed with Mike Santana defeating Joe Hendry in an emotionally intense main event. Santana pulled off the victory with a surprise jackknife pin after nearly 14 minutes of hard-hitting action. That capped off a night that saw multiple stories advance. Matt Cardona and Brian Myers reunited, only to be defeated by The Great Hands due to interference from Order 4’s towering Secret Service enforcer. In a post-match beatdown, Mustafa Ali’s faction stood tall once again. Meanwhile, Mara Sadè made her in-ring debut alongside The IInspiration, and Leon Slater hyped up his reign as X-Division Champion with The Hardys by his side.
After the show went off the air, TNA taped matches for the July 31 episode:
- Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee opened with a win over an unnamed enhancement team.
- Indi Hartwell and Dani Luna scored another victory against Jody Threat and Arianna Grace.
- The Rascalz defeated Nic and Ryan Nemeth in tag action. After the match, Nic announced they were invoking their rematch clause for the tag titles at Emergence. Ryan insulted Rhode Island’s fans, saying their children were ugly and mocking the lack of sports teams. Home Town Man emerged to defend the crowd’s honor, but the Nemeths attacked him, unmasked him, and left him laid out until The Rascalz ran them off.
- Masha Slamovich defeated Knockouts World Champion Jacy Jayne via DQ. Ash by Elegance hit Masha with a title belt.
- Leon Slater retained the X-Division Championship over Cedric Alexander and Jason Hotch in a fast-paced three-way bout.
- The System’s Moose and Eddie Edwards beat Trick Williams and AJ Francis after KC Navarro accidentally struck Williams with his crutch, setting up Moose’s decisive spear and pinfall.
TNA Xplosion:
- Jody Threat defeating Arianna Grace
- Home Town Man—mask intact once again—pinning “The Mecca” Brian Johnson. Johnson’s promo trashing Rhode Island and praising Philadelphia earned surprising heat before his loss.
TNA iMPACT! Spoilers Taped July 25th, 2025 for August 7th episode:
- Mustafa Ali and Order 4 opening the show. Ali blamed chaos in TNA on outsiders like The System and Hendry, vowed change, and called himself the rightful future world champion. Hendry interrupted and played a parody video of John Skyler wiping himself with a Mustafa Ali shirt. Ali refused a match that night but accepted Hendry’s challenge for the August 7 main event.
- Trick Williams fired back at Moose with a fiery promo, mocking his entire family and setting up their showdown for Emergence. Moose responded with a punch and attempted a spear, but Trick ducked out.
- Frankie Kazarian appeared with paperwork, suggesting he’s now reinstated for commentary. He later appeared only briefly, calling the Maclin vs Jake Something match.
- Maclin and Something fought to a double countout after brawling on the apron and falling to the floor. They continued fighting as security tried to hold them back. Maclin dove over the ropes onto the pile of guards and Something, igniting the crowd.
- Promo from Mike Santana in the stands, where he shared the emotional toll of losing at Slammiversary and promised his daughter—and the world—that he would come for Trick Williams and take everything.
- Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee defeated M and Heather by Elegance. Lei sealed the deal with an airplane spin into a TKO on M.
- The First Class Penthouse segment followed, where AJ Francis announced KC Navarro had torn his ACL and was being replaced in the group by a returning Rich Swann. AJ insulted KC’s contributions to the group and Swann yanked away his crutch, causing KC to fall. KC left humiliated.
- Mara Sadè won a squash over Vicious Vicki.
- Ash by Elegance defeated Knockouts World Champion Jacy Jayne by disqualification in a Championship match after Masha Slamovich interfered—mirroring the previous night’s finish. A massive brawl broke out post-match involving Xia, Lei, M & Heather, Fatal Influence, The IInspiration, and others, ending with the babyfaces standing tall.
- Santino Marella came out and announced matches for Emergence in his trademark comedic style. He booked Steve Maclin vs Jake Something in a No DQ, No Countout match, Mike Santana vs Sami Callihan, and a Knockouts Tag Title fatal four-way: The Elegance Brand vs Xia Brookside & Lei Ying Lee vs Fatal Influence vs The IInspiration.
Santino also stripped the Nemeths of their tag title shot due to their attack on Home Town Man, awarding the shot to The Rascalz instead. When Ryan Nemeth threatened to sue, Santino booked him against Home Town Man at Emergence.
- Mustafa Ali defeated Joe Hendry in a brutal rematch. Ali’s entire entourage interfered repeatedly. The final blow came when the Secret Service enforcer leveled Hendry outside the ring, allowing Ali to finish him with a 450 Splash. Hendry fought valiantly, but it took a full assault to finally keep him down, as Ali cemented his place atop the TNA villain hierarchy.
With Emergence just weeks away, TNA’s landscape continues to shift rapidly. Factions are solidifying, champions are under siege, and personal rivalries are heating up. These tapings laid the foundation for what promises to be a pivotal summer stretch in TNA’s ongoing evolution.
