With the WWE calendar winding down and the holiday season approaching, the company made the decision to tape next week’s episode of RAW in advance. What This Means Going Forward

With major storyline threads advancing across the board — from the escalating tension within Judgment Day to Austin Theory’s growing prominence alongside Paul Heyman — the December 22 episode of WWE Monday Night RAW feels deliberately structured to close out 2025 with momentum rather than finality.

Theory scoring the decisive pinfall in the main event not only strengthens his standing within The Vision but also reinforces Paul Heyman’s influence as the architect behind RAW’s most dangerous alliances. At the same time, CM Punk’s continued friction with Gunther, Becky Lynch’s unresolved rivalry with Maxxine Dupri, and the increasingly fractured Judgment Day women’s division signal that RAW is entering 2026 with multiple powder kegs ready to explode.

Rather than offering resolution, this taped holiday episode functions as a narrative bridge — tying together the chaos of late 2025 while laying the groundwork for rivalries, power struggles, and championship implications that will define the first RAW of the new year.
