Live from the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, Rhode Island, the July 7th edition of Monday Night RAW delivered a high-octane, storyline-heavy show as WWE barrels toward its Atlanta takeover this weekend with Saturday Night’s Main Event and WWE Evolution. With Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins and his faction dominating the spotlight, RAW showcased the true influence of the briefcase—even more so than the World Heavyweight Championship itself. In a night of singles competition, Rollins battled Penta in a first-time-ever main event, while Bron Breakker revisited his SummerSlam 2024 rivalry with Sami Zayn—though a vicious pre-match lead pipe attack by Karrion Kross proved Zayn’s undoing. The episode made it clear: the red brand’s orbit now revolves around the World Heavyweight Title, with stars like CM Punk, Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, Goldberg, and even Kross circling for their shot at the crown. Meanwhile, “Big” Bronson Reed showed that even in DQ defeat, destruction speaks louder than victory—decimating Jey Uso with back-to-back Tsunamis. On the women’s side, final pieces for Evolution fell into place as Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez of The Judgment Day prepare to defend their Women’s Tag Team Titles against RAW’s reunited Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane), SmackDown’s Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair, and NXT’s most innovative superstar Sol Ruca & powerhouse Zaria in a blockbuster Fatal Four-Way. In one of the show’s most symbolic moments, The New Day held a tongue-in-cheek funeral for the tag division following their loss to Judgment Day last week. And in the closing moments, Seth Rollins stood tall over Penta—only to be dropped, yet again, by LA Knight, who delivered a second straight BFT from behind, reminding everyone exactly why you don’t cross The Megastar. With tensions boiling over and momentum shifting wildly, RAW delivered a pivotal night that set the table for a seismic weekend ahead.
