Last night, the men and women of WWE rolled into the Dignity Health Arena in Bakersfield, California—just two hours away from the host city of both of today’s highly anticipated events: Worlds Collide and Money in the Bank. With every Money in the Bank ladder match participant in attendance, the night was filled with high-stakes action as several Superstars competed to gain that all-important momentum heading into tonight’s career-altering matches. Tensions within The Bloodline continued to boil over, as Solo Sikoa, United States Champion Jacob Fatu, and the newest addition to the SmackDown roster, powerhouse JC Mateo, found themselves increasingly at odds—culminating in a shocking upset when “Big Jim” Jimmy Uso pinned Mateo. In a striking final image, Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena and Logan Paul—who will team up in tonight’s Money in the Bank tag team main event—stood tall over their fallen opponents. Cena held his Undisputed title high, while Logan Paul boldly raised Jey Uso’s World Heavyweight Championship, offering a chilling glimpse of what could lie ahead for the WWE landscape.
