Last night’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW delivered a high-stakes, action-packed finale as the red brand made its final stop on the road to Night of Champions this Saturday. The WWE Universe witnessed the thrilling conclusion of both the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments, as Cody Rhodes and Jade Cargill secured their spots in the finals—each with legacy, destiny, and championship dreams in sight. Rhodes’ victory now sets up a long-awaited showdown with his former mentor Randy Orton, rekindling their Legacy-era tension in a high-drama clash where the winner edges closer to redemption—and a rematch—with the current WWE Champion, John Cena. On the women’s side, Jade Cargill toppled the explosive Roxanne Perez and now prepares to battle Asuka, the longest-reigning NXT Women’s Champion and The Empress of Tomorrow, in what promises to be a royal collision of dominance and mystique.
The fallout from RAW didn’t stop there. On the RAW Recap podcast with Sam Roberts and Megan Morant, a fired-up Jade declared she’s coming for the crown—and doesn’t fear Money in the Bank holder Naomi, despite their bitter personal history. “The only thing Naomi’s good at is running and sneak attacks,” Jade said confidently, warning that if Naomi dares to cash in, it’ll end in failure.
Meanwhile, chaos erupted in the Women’s Intercontinental Championship scene. In a shocking twist, Lyra Valkyria cost her friend Bayley the match against Becky Lynch, revealing a dangerous obsession with the champion that has now shattered friendships and shaken the title picture.
With just days remaining until Night of Champions, WWE has confirmed several explosive matchups: Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross, a grudge match boiling with psychological warfare; and a brutal Street Fight between Raquel Rodriguez and her former ally Rhea Ripley. And next week’s special 6PM edition of RAW will see The New Day put their WWE World Tag Team Titles on the line in their second defense against Finn Bálor & JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day—a preview of chaos sure to affect both tag team and factional momentum moving forward.
And perhaps most anticipated of all: WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg sat down with legendary commentator Micheal Cole for an exclusive interview ahead of the biggest match of his legendary career—a retirement showdown against “The Ring General” Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Is Goldberg prepared to go out in a blaze of glory, or will Gunther add another icon to his warpath?
With the stakes raised, emotions flaring, and rivalries reaching their boiling point, RAW made sure the red brand went out swinging before Night of Champions. The countdown is on.
