WWE Monday Night RAW June 8th, 2026 Results & Recap: Je’Von Evans Stuns Seth Rollins As Chad Gable Saves Rey Mysterio Following A Disrespectful Unmasking

WWE Monday Night RAW continued its European Summer Tour with another special afternoon broadcast on Netflix, emanating live from the Accor Arena in Paris, France. With WWE Night of Champions rapidly approaching on June 27th, the red brand continued the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments while advancing several of its most important ongoing stories.

The Paris crowd brought an energy that elevated almost everything placed in front of it, but the episode was not carried by atmosphere alone. Oba Femi continued to look like a future centerpiece. Liv Morgan survived a crowded Queen of the Ring tournament match. Sol Ruca delivered another successful championship defense. Penta and Rey Mysterio produced the strongest match of the show before Ethan Page and Rusev crossed a line by tearing Rey’s mask away from his face.

The final image belonged to Je’Von Evans. The Young OG took advantage of the chaos surrounding Seth Rollins and The Vision to secure the biggest victory of his young career, advancing in the King of the Ring tournament and leaving Paris with a career-altering moment.

Here Are The Full Results

  • WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan defeated Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss and Chelsea Green (Queen of the Ring Tournament Fatal 4-Way Match)
  • Sol Ruca (c) defeated Lyra Valkyria (WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship)
  • Penta (c) defeated Rey Mysterio (WWE Intercontinental Championship)
  • Je’Von Evans defeated Seth Rollins, Ricky Saints and Talla Tonga (King of the Ring Tournament Fatal 4-Way Match)

Breakdowns & Reactions

Oba Femi Sends A Warning To Dominik Mysterio And Brock Lesnar

Oba Femi opened the show with a statement that was simple, direct and completely believable. He promised to win the King of the Ring tournament before turning his attention back toward Brock Lesnar, making it clear that their unfinished business did not end with Lesnar’s victory at WWE Clash In Italy.

Dominik Mysterio interrupted ahead of their semifinal match next week. JD McDonagh attempted to help Dom gain the advantage with a steel-chair attack, but Femi absorbed the punishment and overwhelmed both members of The Judgment Day.

The segment accomplished exactly what it needed to accomplish. Dom remains one of WWE’s most effective antagonists, but Femi feels like a completely different level of threat. WWE did not overcomplicate the presentation. Femi looked dangerous, the crowd treated him like a star and next week’s semifinal now has a clear story.

Liv Morgan Defeats Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss And Chelsea Green

The opening match moved quickly and never attempted to become anything more complicated than it needed to be. Becky Lynch entered as the most established threat. Alexa Bliss brought unpredictability. Chelsea Green remained the opportunist capable of stealing a victory. Liv Morgan entered as Women’s World Champion with the biggest target on her back.

Morgan did not dominate the match. She survived it.

Green broke up Lynch’s pin attempt after the Manhandle Slam, only for Morgan to slide into position and catch Green with a jackknife cover. It was the correct finish. Liv advanced without overpowering three opponents, Becky remained protected and Chelsea once again fulfilled her role as the person capable of changing a match without needing to win it.

The action was entertaining, but WWE has leaned heavily on Fatal 4-Way matches during the opening rounds of these tournaments. The formula is beginning to feel repetitive. This worked because the personalities were strong enough to keep it moving.

Chad Gable Begins To Repair The Damage Caused By El Grande Americano

Chad Gable apologized to Penta backstage for his actions while hiding behind the El Grande Americano mask. Penta acknowledged the apology but made it clear that words alone would not erase the disrespect. If Gable genuinely wanted to make things right, he still needed to speak directly with Rey Mysterio.

Rey accepted Gable’s apology later in the show but reminded him that his mistakes did not begin with the mask. That was the most important line of the exchange. Gable cannot repair months of dishonesty through a handful of conversations. The redemption story only works if WWE allows him to confront the consequences of his actions rather than immediately pretending everything has been forgiven.

This was a necessary step forward without rushing the process.

Seth Rollins Targets Roman Reigns As Jacob Fatu Refuses To Follow Orders

Seth Rollins entered the King of the Ring tournament with a clear goal: win the crown, move toward Roman Reigns and challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship.

The direction makes sense because WWE does not need to manufacture tension between Rollins and Reigns. Their history already exists. Every interaction between them carries weight because their careers have remained connected since The Shield.

Rollins later crossed paths with The Usos and Jacob Fatu. After Rollins questioned why Jimmy Uso was not competing in the tournament, Jey attempted to order Jacob to handle the situation. Fatu refused and walked away.

That was the most interesting part of the segment. Jacob acknowledged Roman Reigns as Tribal Chief, but that does not mean he suddenly takes instructions from The Usos. WWE is allowing the tension to build naturally instead of rushing toward another predictable Bloodline betrayal.

Sol Ruca Defeats Lyra Valkyria To Retain The WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship

Sol Ruca and Lyra Valkyria delivered a solid championship match built around athletic counters and clean execution. Valkyria remains one of WWE’s most reliable wrestlers, and she gave Ruca a credible opponent without making the result feel obvious.

Ruca secured the victory with the Sol Snatcher and continued building momentum as Women’s Intercontinental Champion.

The title reign is still in its early stages, but successful defenses matter. Ruca’s athletic ability has never been the question. The next step is developing a stronger character connection beyond the highlight-reel offense. This match helped, even if it was not designed to steal the show.

LA Knight Gives Jey Uso A Needed Reality Check

LA Knight addressed his upcoming King of the Ring tournament match on SmackDown against Jey Uso, Finn Bálor and Royce Keys. Knight questioned whether the Bloodline would become involved and accused Roman Reigns of keeping WWE trapped inside the same family drama.

Jey interrupted and told Knight to stay out of his family’s business. Knight briefly acknowledged Jey’s loyalty before delivering the line that gave the segment its edge: screw your family.

Jimmy Uso stepped between them before the confrontation became physical.

Knight was right. The Bloodline story remains important, but WWE has returned to interference-heavy family drama so many times that other wrestlers should question whether they are competing on an even playing field. Jey’s renewed loyalty to Roman has also placed him in a complicated position. He may believe he is protecting his family, but he is slowly becoming part of the machine he once fought to escape.

Penta Defeats Rey Mysterio To Retain The WWE Intercontinental Championship

Penta and Rey Mysterio delivered the best match of the show.

The match was fast, physical and built around two wrestlers who understand how to make every major sequence feel meaningful. Rey remained believable throughout the match, surviving the Penta Driver and nearly stealing the championship after connecting with the 619. Penta eventually countered Rey’s frog-splash attempt and hit the flip piledriver to retain the title.

The result was correct. Rey Mysterio does not need another championship reign to remain credible. Penta needed a meaningful victory to strengthen his run as Intercontinental Champion, and defeating a legend gave him exactly that.

The post-match attack made the segment even better.

Ethan Page and Rusev attacked both men after the bell. Dragon Lee attempted to help but was overwhelmed. Rusev then tore Rey’s mask away from his face while Penta tried to protect his identity.

That brought Chad Gable to the ring.

Gable drove Page and Rusev away before returning the mask. The visual carried more weight than another backstage apology ever could. Gable spent the afternoon asking for forgiveness. When the moment arrived, he proved that his words were not empty.

The entire sequence connected multiple stories without feeling forced. Penta retained his championship. Rey remained sympathetic. Page and Rusev became more detestable. Dragon Lee attempted to defend his mentor. Gable finally took a meaningful step toward redemption.

Roxanne Perez Begins To Notice The Complicated Dynamic Inside The Judgment Day

Roxanne Perez spoke with Liv Morgan backstage after Liv advanced in the Queen of the Ring tournament. Perez suggested that the ideal outcome would be for Liv and Raquel Rodriguez to advance far enough to face one another.

Morgan did not engage with the idea for long before Dominik Mysterio appeared. Perez was left behind with a noticeably suspicious expression.

The Judgment Day has always functioned best when the group feels unstable. There are too many competing personalities, loyalties and personal agendas for everything to remain peaceful. Perez appears to be paying attention to the relationship between Liv and Dominik, and that tension should continue developing slowly.

Je’Von Evans Defeats Seth Rollins, Ricky Saints And Talla Tonga

The main event gave each wrestler a clear role. Talla Tonga was the physical obstacle. Ricky Saints was the opportunist. Seth Rollins entered as the experienced favorite. Je’Von Evans was the young wildcard capable of changing the match with one sudden burst of athleticism.

Evans delivered the standout performance, surviving a chokeslam through the announce desk and continuing to find ways back into the match. Rollins appeared ready to secure the victory after hitting the Blackout on Saints, but Austin Theory pulled the referee out of the ring.

Montez Ford attacked Theory and chased him into the crowd. Bron Breakker then appeared and destroyed Rollins with a spear.

Saints attempted to capitalize, but Evans reacted first and hit the OG Cutter for the victory.

Evans did exactly what he needed to do. He did not dominate the match or pin Rollins directly. He survived, remained alert and took advantage of the opportunity placed in front of him. That is how a rising star should be presented.

The interference is where the story becomes more complicated. Rollins defeated Breakker last week and appeared ready to move toward Roman Reigns. Extending the conflict with The Vision risks becoming repetitive. Bron’s attack made sense from a character standpoint, but WWE should be careful not to keep Rollins trapped inside a feud that has already lasted long enough.

Still, the final moment belonged to Evans. That was the correct decision.

Best Match Of The Night

Penta vs. Rey Mysterio for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

The match delivered strong action, credible near-falls and the correct result. The post-match angle elevated it further by giving Chad Gable’s redemption story its most meaningful moment.

Chad Gable saves Rey Mysterio after Rusev removes his mask

Gable spent the episode apologizing for the damage caused by El Grande Americano. Saving Rey and returning the mask proved far more than another speech ever could.

What Was Announced For Next Week’s Show

  • Oba Femi vs AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio (King of the Ring Tournament Semifinal Match)

Final Thoughts

This was a productive episode of WWE Monday Night RAW.

The Paris crowd elevated the presentation, but the show also gave viewers several reasons to care about what happens next. Penta and Rey Mysterio delivered the strongest match of the afternoon. Chad Gable’s redemption story finally gained emotional weight. Oba Femi continued to look like a future main-event player. Jacob Fatu’s refusal to blindly follow The Usos added another layer to the Bloodline. Liv Morgan advanced without weakening the other women in her match.

The main event gave Je’Von Evans the biggest victory of his young career while keeping Seth Rollins protected. The only concern is whether WWE knows when to move Rollins beyond The Vision and toward something more compelling.

RAW was not perfect. The tournament format is already beginning to feel repetitive, and a few backstage segments existed primarily to set up later developments. However, the strongest moments felt connected rather than isolated.

Je’Von Evans may not have pinned Seth Rollins, but he left Paris as the biggest winner of the afternoon.

The Young OG received an opportunity and did not waste it.
